Altis 4 Life
Altis4Life was an Arma 3 game server based on the Altis Life framework, created by AsYetUntilted (Tonic). The main objective of the server was to provide an immersive role-playing experience in the Altis environment.
My role
As a key contributor to the Altis4Life project, I introduced an innovative feature allowing players to vote every to vote every 3 hours. This feature was designed to enrich the player experience by giving them a way to a way of expressing their preferences and actively participating in the direction of the server.
My role in this initiative was multifaceted
Feature development
As a developer, I designed and implemented the voting system, ensuring that it was robust, fair and easy for players to use. This included creating a user-friendly interface that allowed players to vote with ease, as well as setting up the mechanisms for counting and validating votes.
Integration into the game experience
I worked closely with the Altis4Life team to seamlessly integrate the voting functionality into the existing game experience. This included identifying the right moments to invite players to vote, as well as clearly communicating the results and impact of votes on the server.
Improved player engagement
The introduction of the 3-hour voting system aimed to increase player engagement by offering them a direct means of influencing decisions made on the server. This initiative also strengthened the sense of community by encouraging players to actively participate in the life of the server.
In short, my involvement with Altis4Life has enriched the player experience by introducing a regular voting feature, promoting engagement and interaction within the gaming community.
